Info Post

If your kid missed the opportunity to recieve a free haircut during August,  there will be plenty of other chances. After an overwhelming response to the free offer back in August, which drove 1.6 million to get snipped at no cost, the chain has decided to make it a regular thing.
J.C. Penney sent an email newsletter announcing the news to some 15 million customers today.
Starting November 4, take your kid to any J.C. Penney salon on Sundays for a free haircut. The offer is valid for children in kindergarten through sixth grade (sorry junior high and high schoolers!). Just call 855-JCP-KIDS or stop by your local salon to book an appointment.
As for the quality of haircut, that we can’t vouch for. In the event of a butchering, rest assured, the hair will grow back.
In other J.C. Penney news — in an effort to not seem so “dowdy” (other people’s words, not ours) — the chain is launching new “store within a store” branded shops like Target, Macy’s and Sears do. A new product line with Cosmopolitan magazine is in the works, as are Levi’s “denim bars” with “fit specialists.”
